Pharchamo Peak-6187m

Pharchamo Peak

Pharchamo-6187m Peak is an attractive snow peak lying south of Tashi Lapcha. It has a northwest ridge, which rises above the Trolumbau Glaciers in the west. Rolwaling Valley is the main access to Pharchamo, though this route was closed for most of the 1980s due to potential dangers to porters crossing the Tashi Lapcha. Pharchamo is the third most popular peak of NMA after Island Peak and Mera Peak. It was first climbed in 1955AD. Pharchamo and Tashi-Lapcha passes are combined. It passes through Rolwaling Valley to Khumbu Valley.

Everest Base Camp Trek and Kalapatthar Ascent

Lukla Airport
This trek is one of the lifetime adventures trips that begins with an “eye opening” flight to Lukla at 2800m and passes through the picturesque Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar to Gorakshep culminating in the “ascent” of Kala Pattar (5500 m) from where we can enjoy a spectacular views of the mesmerizing peaks of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt Pumori, Mt. Thamserku, Mt Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse and many other snow-clad peaks. The Everest region has gained its popularity for trekking, mountaineering, peak climbing and expedition. Among the major destinations of trekking in Nepal, Everest region stood second despite poor accessibility. It is more expensive and difficult to get Solu Khumbu than to the Annapurna region. One must either walk for a week or fly to Lukla to get near Everest. The number of trekkers to Everest has increased dramatically because of the publicity the mountain has received from several sources. Khumbu is famous not only for its proximity to the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest (8848m), but also for its Sherpa villages and age-old monasteries and local culture. The primary goal of trekking in Everest region is stepping at least the Everest Base Camp (5340m.) or Everest view point kalapattar (5545m).

Everest Three Passes Trek

Lukla Airport
The Three Passes Trek offers the ultimate Everest Experience, encompassing breathtaking mountain views and rich Sherpa culture. This challenging route combines all the highlights of the Everest region into one unforgettable journey. It includes three high passes: Renjo La (5370m), Cho La (5420m) and Kongma La (5545m).

The Trek begins in Lukla, following the Dudh Koshi Valley to Namche Bazaar, the central trading hub of the Everest region, where trekkers, locals and expedition teams converge. Following the classic Everest Base Camp trail to Dingboche, the route leads to Chhukung and then to Lobuche via the first pass, Kongma La (5545m). After witnessing the grandeur of Mt. Everest from Kalapatthar, the trek descends to Dzongla (4830m), then heads to Thangnak (4680m) via the second pass, Cho La (5420m), continuing all the way to Gokyo (4790m). An excursion to the fourth and fifth lakes is an added attraction in the Gokyo Valley. Gokyo Ri is renowned as the best viewpoint in the entire Everest region, while Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest in the Nepalese Himalayas, is another highlight.

Finally, the trek ascends to Lungde (5200m) via the third pass, Renjo La (5345m), before returning to Lukla, the starting point of the trip. Along the way, trekkers will encounter friendly locals, mesmerizing scenery, picturesque villages, a wide variety of flora and fauna, vibrant festivals, and beautiful monasteries that will leave a lasting impression.

Lobuje Peak

The Lobuje Mountain consists of two different summits i.e East and West with heights of 6,119 m and 6,145 m respectively. A continuous ridge connects them but there is still a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. The East Peak is recognized as a trekking peak, whereas the West is known as an Expedition Peak
It is very suitable for the expedition member to Mt.Everest and Mt.Lhotse for acclimatization. It reduces the danger to walk through the Khumbu Ice-fall.

Island peak 6160m

Before reaching the summit.

Island Peak or also known as Imja Tse is one of the most popular trekking peak of Nepal. The peak was named Island Peak in 1951 by Eric Shiptons party since it appears as an Island in a sea of Ice when viewed from Dingboche. The peak was later renamed in 1983 to Imja Tse but Island Peak remains the popular choice. The peak is actually an extension of the ridge coming down off the south end of Lhotshe Shar. The combination of Everest base camp trek and Island Peak climbing is probably the best trip in Nepal adored by adventure seekers. Imja Tse not only provides an enjoyable climb but also provides some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region. Seen from the summit the giant mountains, Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), Lhotse Middle Peak (8,410m) and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Amadablam in the south add more charm in climbing Island Peak. For many mountaineers climbing Island Peak marks the beginning of climbing on Himalayas to prepare for a big Himalayas expedition in Nepal. For some mountaineers the peak stands for the purpose of acclimatization before heading to bigger mountain climbing.

Trekking to Kaalapatthar or Everest base camp is best suited for acclimatization before proceeding to the climbing on Island Peak .The normal route for climbing Island Peak is South East Flank & South-West Ridge Normally; the base camp is set at Pareshaya Gyab (5,087m), between Imja Tse and the lateral moraine of the Imja Glacier, starting the climb between 2 and 3 am. Proper care should be taken to avoid the possible avalanche in the event of heavy snow fall. For some people reaching to the summit from the base camp is a day activity. However, most of the climbers prefer alpine style camping at high camp which adds the joy of climbing and also helps a safe ascent. However, adequate water supply and concerns about sleeping at a higher altitude may dictate starting from base camp. Base camp to high camp is basically a hike but just above high camp, some rocky steps require moderatescrambling and up through a broad open gully. At the top of the gully, glacier travel begins and proceeds up to a steep snow and ice slope. From this points about 100 meters Fixed rope is necessary which will be fix by our Guide or Sherpa Climber.
